1. HIKVISION Hik-Connect App - Introduction

The Hikvision Hik-Connect App enables you to monitor your Hikvision camera surveillance sustem on an Andorid or iOS based smartphone or tablet.

2. HIKVISION Hik-Connect App - Installation

On an Android based smartphone or tablet, open the Google Play Store and install the Hik-Connect App. On an iOS based smartphone or tablet, open the App Store and install the Hik-Connect App.

3. HIKVISION Hik-Connect App - Log in

Open the Hikvision Hik-Connect App.

Click the Login/Register button.

Enter the User Name and the Password for the Hik-Connect Service account you created in the previous post.

Click the Login button.

4. HIKVISION Hik-Connect App - Authenticate

Now you should see all the Hikvision camera’s you registered to the Hik-Connect Service as mentioned in the previous post.

If certain camera’s show a grey camera image instead of their live feed, this means the verification code for those camera’s has not been entered yet. To do so, click on the grey camera image. Then enter the encryption password (= Verification Code from our previous post) and click the OK button. Afterwards the live camera feed will be shown.

5. HIKVISION Hik-Connect App - Group to Favorites

You can group camera’s by adding them to your favorites.

Just click on the plus sign in the top right corner and select Add to Favorites.

Then select the camera’s you want to group.

Give the favorites group a Name and click OK.

The group is now shown on top on the main screen.

Click in the group image to view all grouped camera’s at once.

Click in the 3 dots near the group name to reorder the camera’s. Just drag and drop the camera’s in the prefered order. Then click the Save icon in the top right corner.
