2. Laragon - Updating HeidiSQL
- Rename the folder
\laragon\bin\heidisql\to\laragon\bin\heidisql.bak\ - Create a new empty folder
\laragon\bin\heidisql\
- Download the latest portable 64 bit HeidiSQL version as a ZIP archive from heidisql.com and unpack its content into the newly created
\laragon\bin\heidisql\folder.
- In the menu, select MySQL → HeidiSQL.
- Click on the Import settings file… button and import the file
\laragon\bin\heidisql.bak\portable_settings.txt - Click the OK button.
- Close the HeidiSQL Session Manager.
- In the menu, select MySQL → HeidiSQL.
- In the left pane of the HeidiSQL Session Manager, select the Laragon entry.
- Click the Open button to start your newly installed version of HeidiSQL.
- You can now delete the folder
\laragon\bin\heidisql.bak\
